Healthy air is humid air.
Many people have trouble breathing, or have dry itchy skin, or allergies due to dry air. Humidity in our heating systems allows us to overcome these issues in part or possibly completely. Today’s humidifiers offer either water or steam systems with excellent control capabilities.
Also be sure to keep your outside condenser clean, and bushes and trees pruned, limiting leaves and dirt away from the sides to allow the condenser to breeth properly. Even equipment needs to breath regularly.

| This is a review and statement of my reaction to the work done on my water heater a few days ago. The men arrived on time and promptly went to work. They finished in good time and I had an opportunity to ask questions about prevention of future problems. He gave me a good description of what I can do to drain the tank annually. | I called Tingey Plumbing and Heating in the morning for a furnace that was out in my warehouse on 1-05-2012 they were here within 30 minutes diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in about 30 minutes, the technician was very knowledgeable and gave great customer service. | We had some issues with frozen pipes in our house. Jim and his assistant came out and checked our pipes. They recommended more insulation around our pipes. They were very professional, answered all our questions and didn't charge us anything for their consultation. | I had bought a condominium knowing the air conditioning did not work. The real estate agents who helped my find this condo and the home inspector recommended Tingey Plumbing & Heating, Inc as an air conditioning contractor. I am glad for this recommendation as Tingey replaced my 17 year old unit and made my system work. The air conditioning unit was on the roof 30 feet above the third story of this building. They arranged to have a crane company lift the AC outside unit on the roof and took care of all details with the Home Owners Association. They also assessed my total HVAC system and water heater as well demonstrating how they go the extra mile. | WE HAD ALL BEEN AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND UPON COMING HOME WE JUST STARTED CLEANING UP AND BOOM, OUR KITCHEN FLOODED, THE BASEMENT FLOODED. IT WAS LATE, SO WE DECIDED TO TRY AND GET SOMEONE TO COME TO OUR HOUSE TO UNCLOG THE DRAINS FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE BASEMENT LAUNDRY ROOM AND THEN TO THE OUT SIDE OF THE HOUSE. I CALLED NEERING PLUMBING, BUT THEY WERE BOOKED FOR THE DAY, SO THEY TOLD ME TO CALL TINGEY PLUMBING AND I AM SO GLAD THEY DID. DAVE CAME TO OUR HOUSE 2 HOURS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. HE WAS A PROFESSIONAL AND WALKED ME THROUGH EVERY THING THAT WAS WRONG WITH OUR PLUMBING AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. HE GAVE US A FEW OPTIONS AND THEN WE SETTLED ON THE ONE WE WANTED. HE NEVER ONCE TRIED TO JACK UP THE COST OF THE WORK PREFORMED. IT TOOK HIM ABOUT AN HOUR TO GET ALL THE PROBLEMS FIXED. JUST IN TIME TO START THE DISHES FOR DINNER AND TO GET THE LAUNDRY GOING. | I have had three plumbing emergencies in the last year. Tingey Plumbing responded quickly in all three cases. Dan always knew just what the problem was and fixed it just as quickly. I didn't have to wait for him to go get parts, he always had what was needed and the price was good. | Tingey is reliable whether one makes an appointment for service or has an emergency. I was having my kitchen's hardwood floors refinished when I discovered that the under-sink shut off value supplying water to the refrigerator's ice maker was frozen in the open position--water streaming, not dripping from the copper line. I called Tingey and asked for a plumber to come the same day. By 2:00 PM he was here and replaced the value and even reconnected the water line to the refrigerator. I have no fears now of leaking water damaging my beautiful floor! Tingey did not charge extra for the emergency call. I had an internal water shut off value for my evaporative cooler replaced almost a year ago, and the cost to me this time was almost the same. I have confidence in Tingey to do what they say they will and to do it with excellent service.
